Bronze bluebell

​Perennial tufted herb with thickened taproot. Few to many erect, leafy stems from the base, branching above. Paris of narrow leaves 5-60mm x 1-2mm, sometimes becoming scattered above the base, margins entire or with a few small teeth. Flowers, blue inside, yellowish-brown outside. Single terminal bell-shaped flowers to 15mm across, tube shorter than erect calyx lobes, floral lobes not widely spreading. A dainty herb especially mass plantd or planted in drifts.
