Red Fruit Saw Sedge

Tussock forming perennial plant that favors damp sunny sites. Leaves spiralling and sheathing around stem, long, to 2.5m, channelled and rough, becoming pendulous. Dense flower spike (yellowish-brown becoming black) 30-100cm x 70mm. Nuts bright red and shiny.
