Rough Spear Grass

Tufted perennial grass with erect flowering stems. smooth or rough, strongly folded or in-rolled leaves to 15cm x less than 1mm. Opening of leaf sheath fringed with hairs. Purplish flower bract becoming straw-colored. Graceful small grass for underplanting trees or for use in rockeries.
